About The Position

The Fine Dining Host greets and escorts restaurant guests to their tables according to party size and assigned stations. The role answers phones and books reservations using the company reservation system in accordance with established standards, processes payment transactions, and assists with station assignments and rotation planning. The host also helps open, close, and secure the room and completes side work accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Ability to communicate in English by hearing, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience as a host in a high-volume and/or fine-dining environment is preferred.
