About The Position

This is a part-time position assisting the Fine Arts Center Manager with technical operations for facility rentals and reservations. The role involves operating lighting, sound, and counterweight systems. A freshman intern may be present for training.

Requirements

• Must be an actively enrolled Theatre student in the Denton ISD High School Theatre program.
• Trained in lighting, sound, and counterweight systems.
• Students must be recommended by the Fine Arts Center Manager.
• Ability to run and program high school theatre lighting equipment.
• Ability to run and program high school theatre sound equipment.
• Ability to operate counterweight system.
• High School Theatre I & II

Responsibilities

• Programming and preparing for campus Fine Arts Center rentals and reservations.
• Operating lighting, sound, and counterweight systems in the High School Fine Arts Center.
• Communicating with the Fine Arts Center Manager.
• Maintain professionalism with guest, staff, and students.
• Assists with various department projects.
• Maintains an important level of confidentiality.
• Follows all rules, regulations, and policies of the Denton ISD and follows directives from superiors.
• Follows attendance policy as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Administration and/or supervisor.
