About The Position

CopeCart is an innovative, internationally growing company in the digital commerce sector. With over 140 team members in 16 countries, we enable entrepreneurs to sell digital products and services worldwide. For our Finance Team, we are now looking for an experienced Finance Accountant (m/f/d) to be responsible for the accounting processes for the DACH region.

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a certified accountant or a business administration degree with a focus on accounting/finance
• Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international company
• Very good knowledge of HGB, knowledge of IFRS is a plus
• Experience in collaborating with tax advisors and in preparing audits
• Confident use of accounting software (e.g., DATEV, Navision, NetSuite)
• Structured, independent, and precise way of working
• Fluent German language skills, good English skills

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (and possibly IFRS)
• Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
• Reconciliation and maintenance of accounts
• Communication and collaboration with external tax advisors and auditors
• Support with tax audits and internal/external audits
• Participation in process optimization and automation in the Finance area
• Support in the further development of our financial systems and tools
