About The Position

Fisher Investments is seeking an experienced Financial Writer (Ghostwriter) to transform investment expertise into engaging content. This role is part of a collaborative writing team where you will learn from seasoned financial writers and industry experts. The position offers an opportunity to apply your writing skills within a company that has a significant global financial presence. As a Financial Writer (Ghostwriter), your primary responsibility will be to educate employees, clients, and investors by creating educational and engaging articles for major financial publications. You will report to a Team Leader and collaborate with the writing staff and in-house research group to produce compelling, fast-reading persuasive articles that highlight the firm’s unique approach to market analysis and investing. Success in this role depends on your ability to adapt your writing style to meet the needs of senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of writing experience
• 1+ years of financial writing experience
• Ghostwriting experience in persuasive (Op-Ed) articles
• Experience communicating complicated topics in simple, non-academic, interesting terms
• Experience editing for clarity, grammar, spelling, consistency and accuracy
• Ability to produce quality work with a commitment to improvement while meeting a target timeline

Responsibilities

• Write persuasive articles on a wide array of financial and economic topics in an Op-Ed format.
• Support high-volume output for firm use.
• Research unfamiliar financial topics using online and firm resources.
• Customize concepts for international audiences.
• Analyze financial media to identify trending topics.
