About The Position

The Financial Systems Manager oversees agency and financial systems, including Epic, Concur, JDE, and related reporting tools. The role manages system testing, integration, conversion, support, and reporting, and serves as a key liaison to Applied Systems and other vendors on finance and accounting matters, including product design, reporting, and production support. The manager oversees system processes and accounting issue support, gathers and documents reporting requirements using agency management system and related-system data, and coordinates conversion tasks with the merger and acquisition integration team. The role also manages staff by providing direction, setting goals, and ensuring department goals are attained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 8 years of general accounting experience and/or at least 6 years of insurance brokerage accounting experience.
• Strong accounting process knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formula usage.

• At least 6 years of supervisory experience.
• Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
