About The Position

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for managing financial coding within the Eurofins Environment (USA) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring alignment between sales invoicing and the accounting system. This role involves checking and adding new coding to the financial coding portal, performing financial analysis and modeling, system maintenance, data management, report creation, and tie-out checking across different software solutions like LIMS and the accounting system. The analyst plays a key role in integrated systems planning, recommending new technologies to enhance current systems and support business goals. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach within a lab or production environment. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in the Lancaster, PA office, with the remainder of the week remote. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Lancaster, PA, and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Requirements

BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required.
5+ years of experience in a corporate IT solutions role, preferably supporting or customizing financial systems.
Strong analytical skills, applied to both IT applications and finance processes design.
Several years of experience with SQL and a strong understanding of accounting for sales and intercompany transactions.
Experience sitting between Finance/Accounting and IT departments.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Finance, IT, and the business.
Good business acumen.

Ability to work independently.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Oracle EPM or Hyperion is a plus.
Experience with creating tie-outs of data between operational and finance systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the financial coding in the Eurofins Environment (USA) Laboratory Information management System.
Ensure continued alignment between sales invoicing and the accounting system.
Check and add new coding to the financial coding portal.
Perform financial analysis and modeling.
System maintenance.

Report creation.
Tie-out checking across different software solutions (such as LIMS and accounting system).
Provide integrated systems planning and recommend new or different technologies which will enhance current systems and support overall business goals.
Automate the tie-out of Invoicing from the LIMS system with the accounting software invoiced sales.
Act as the primary liaison between Finance and IT Solutions teams to ensure financial systems align with organizational needs, functional requirements, and technical standards.
Make value-added recommendations to build and maintain SQL queries to support data tie-outs between systems and automation needs.
