A Day in the Life Medtronic is seeking a Finance System Analyst to join our Global FP&A Systems Center of Excellence. In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting our global FP&A organization with the OneStream planning/forecasting processes, master data governance and management reporting. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and passionate about improving financial systems and business processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve system challenges, support end users, and help drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in finance or working with ERP systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience working with financial systems
  • Skilled in data analysis and presenting findings
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of Medtronic financial systems and processes is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
  • Experience with AI-powered tools (such as Copilot) in finance or analytics environments
  • Exposure to OneStream or similar enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms
  • Continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in partnership with technical teams
  • Assist in testing and implementing new processes and system upgrades
  • Develop and deliver clear communication and training materials to support stakeholders.
  • Provide daily system support, data validation, and issue resolution
  • Document processes and clarify business requirements
  • Support and maintain Copilot BOT and other AI-powered tools to enhance finance system efficiency and user productivity.
  • Participate in cross-functional and continuous improvement projects
