About The Position

The Financial Systems Analyst (Vista Viewpoint) is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining financial systems with a focus on Vista by Viewpoint. This role plays a key part in system implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Vista, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Vista by Viewpoint financial systems.
  • Experience with system implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in financial systems environments.
  • Ability to analyze and improve business processes related to accounting and operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial systems analysis or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Vista by Viewpoint is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Vista by Viewpoint financial systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and IT teams to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs.
  • Analyze current workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other business applications.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows, procedures, and user guides.
  • Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Generate and support financial reporting needs through system capabilities and enhancements.
  • Participate in testing efforts for new features, configurations, and implementations.
  • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during implementations or upgrades.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
