About The Position

The Financial Systems Analyst (Vista Viewpoint) is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining financial systems with a focus on Vista by Viewpoint. This role plays a key part in system implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Vista, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support business objectives.

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of Vista by Viewpoint financial systems.
Experience with system implementation and post-implementation support.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in financial systems environments.
Ability to analyze and improve business processes related to accounting and operations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
3–5 years of experience in financial systems analysis or a related role.
Hands-on experience with Vista by Viewpoint is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related industry is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Vista by Viewpoint financial systems.
Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with accounting, operations, and IT teams to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs.
Analyze current workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
Assist with system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other business applications.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows, procedures, and user guides.
Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective system utilization.
Monitor system performance and data integrity, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
Generate and support financial reporting needs through system capabilities and enhancements.
Participate in testing efforts for new features, configurations, and implementations.
Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during implementations or upgrades.
Perform other duties as assigned.
