About The Position

Make an impact supporting the National Institute of Health! Lynch Consultants is seeking a Financial Specialist with a solid understanding of budget formulation and execution, financial analysis, and CIO Management Support Services (CMSS). This is a role for someone who is ready to take on meaningful challenges and make a measurable difference. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 6 years of relevant financial management or analytical experience.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial formulas.
Experience developing financial models and performing budget variance and trend analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
Strong written and communication skills, including experience preparing reports, briefings, and presentations for leaderships.
Ability to obtain and maintain an NIH Public Trust background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a federal government contracting environment.
Familiarity with NIH, HHS, or broader federal government financial management processes and policies.
Experience with Power BI, or similar data visualization and reporting tools.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential is a plus.
Experience supporting budget formulation and execution within a government environment.

Responsibilities

Budget formulation and execution, including tracking obligations, expenditures, and projections.
Preparing of monthly financial status reports, executive briefings, and PowerPoint presentations.
Data analysis and reporting skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
