About The Position

The position is responsible for review of financial applications submitted through scan file from Reception, via mail or submission from QMHP's. After review and verification of all necessary items, position will either contact individual for clarification, more information, or submit financial application through CMBHS and/or Availity for verification of Medicaid, NTBHA or other insurance coverage. Responsible for submission of all new financials within 3-5 days. Also responsible for submission of update applications within 7-10 days. After verification of insurance coverage, position will schedule intake appointment in Cerner scheduler. Weekly review of Becca reports for correct insurance entry. Complete Prescription Assistant Program (PAP) applications for clients who qualify for assistance, and contact pharmacies to ensure access to prescriptions. Participate as an active member of support staff/clinical team as requested. Return all phone calls within 24 hours.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • Processing skills for both entry and output proficiencies.
  • LRCC training consistent for job classification.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Knowledge of community, community standards, client's rights and Lakes Regional Community Center policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of word processing and PC usage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to document accurately.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
