About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses and learning foundational advisory skills. The program includes dedicated training for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensing, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial situations, and provide advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where clients' portfolios are grown and deepened. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
