About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training programs. Upon licensure, individuals will learn foundational advisory skills, including client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing tailored advice and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment services, with a progression path to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and federal registry submission, which are mandatory for continued employment.

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within specified timeframes.
  • Learn and apply foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Assess clients' complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Humanize financial interactions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions in a financial center.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system as required by the SAFE Act and maintain good standing.
