About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America involves obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training. Upon licensing, you will learn foundational advisory skills, including client relationship management, understanding financial needs, and providing guidance. The role progresses to working in a financial center, offering core banking and investment solutions. Successful FSAs typically advance to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, continuing to grow client portfolios. The Academy provides ongoing support, programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check and registration process, with failure to maintain it potentially leading to termination.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice.
  • Deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to the solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
