About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America focuses on developing individuals into licensed financial advisors. The program includes comprehensive training for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensing, trainees learn foundational advisory skills, including client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing tailored advice. The role progresses through stages, starting in a financial center, with potential for advancement to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and other roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The program emphasizes a consultative approach, client-centric solutions, and collaboration with banking and investment partners. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential mortgage originations.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
