About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66). Upon licensure, individuals will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, understanding complex financial needs, and providing advice and solutions. The role involves humanizing financial interactions and progresses through stages of development, starting in a financial center. Successful completion of Stage I typically leads to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where clients are managed within a portfolio. The Academy provides ongoing support, training, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration in the federal registry system, with failure to comply potentially leading to termination.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
