About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is seeking motivated individuals for its Advisor Development Program, specifically for the Financial Solutions Advisor Trainee role within the centralized segment. This program is designed to guide you through obtaining necessary securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) and developing foundational skills to become a successful financial advisor. You will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, understand complex financial situations, and provide tailored advice and solutions. The role involves phone-based client interaction, identifying investment, savings, and liability management needs, and aligning Merrill and Bank of America products and services. The program offers a defined path for career growth within Merrill Wealth Management, supported by dedicated training, coaching, and resources. You will work with affluent and high net worth clients, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare recommendations. Successful trainees typically progress to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) role. The program emphasizes responsible growth, community support, diversity, and client-first principles, with opportunities for continuous training and development.

  • Must obtain SIE within 60 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background check and registration process.
