About The Position

This is a 13-week Financial Advisor Apprenticeship Training program designed to transform individuals into successful financial advisors. The program combines proven methodologies, hands-on coaching, and real-world application. The training includes both in-person and online components, with the initial three days held at the Marriott Hotel in Metairie, followed by 12 weeks of classes (2 days per week) in Metairie, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, or Shreveport. For those outside of Metairie, the training will have hybrid components (In-Person + Online), but candidates must reside in Louisiana. The program requires obtaining a Life Insurance License before starting, with Kaplan training provided. A background check and technology setup will also be conducted. The program aims to provide licensing and certification support, mentorship, professional development, and a clear path for career success within a growth-minded culture.

Requirements

• Must live or have lived in LOUISIANA.
• Must obtain a Life Insurance License (Kaplan training provided).
• Must complete background check.
• Must complete technology setup.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
• Desire to pursue the SIE, Series 7 Topper & Series 66.
• Creative problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Curiosity, coachability, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A passion for building relationships and a commitment to client success.

Nice To Haves

• If you already have the Life & Health License or SIE it is a plus!
• Previous experience in a client-facing or sales role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a Life Insurance License (online training provided).
• Complete background check and technology setup.
• Attend initial 3-day in-person training in Metairie.
• Participate in weekly training sessions (4-10 hours/week) for 12 weeks, either in-person in Metairie or online from a branch office.
• Pursue SIE, Series 7 Topper, and Series 66 licenses (sponsored by the company).
• Develop creative problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Demonstrate curiosity and coachability.
• Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Build relationships and commit to client success.
