About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Registration Candidate role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on helping individuals obtain the necessary licenses to become a Financial Solutions Advisor. The program includes dedicated training for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensure, candidates will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice and solutions. The role progresses through stages, starting with training and culminating in working within a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. Successful candidates will have opportunities to advance within Bank of America and Merrill. This position requires registration with the federal registry system under the SAFE Act, involving a background check and registration process.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) within 30 days of hire.
  • Obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 120 days of hire.
  • Learn and apply foundational skills for client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice.
  • Work in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Build a network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Register with the federal registry system under the SAFE Act and maintain good standing.
