Bank of America•New York, NY
•$29 - $34•Onsite

About The Position

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you begin by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, you develop foundational advising skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; considering clients’ complex financial situations; and guiding them with advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, you work in a financial center helping deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions and its approach to client care. The Academy provides training, tools, and resources throughout your development. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio and may advance to other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The role is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination. The position is open across the entire Manhattan South market; the specific financial center location will depend on business needs. Training takes place at one financial center. The employee may then initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location within a reasonable commuting distance of home is determined, as permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays required, on first shift, for 40 hours per week. The role is based at 1680 Broadway, New York, NY. Compensation is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, with offers determined by experience, education, and skill set. The role receives a base salary and is not incentive eligible. It is currently benefits eligible, with paid time off and other benefits and employee resources.
