About The Position

The FSA I journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated and personalized classes. Once licensed, individuals are trained in foundational advisor skills, focusing on acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and providing advice and solutions. Upon achieving key milestones, the FSA I will work in a financial center, delivering Bank of America's core banking and investment solutions. Successful FSA I's typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue to grow and deepen client relationships. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources for career development. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including a federal registry system registration and background check, with failure to maintain registration potentially resulting in termination.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Obtain your SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Obtain your Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • Spanish speaking.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66) through structured lessons and dedicated study time.
  • Acquire, build and manage client relationships.
  • Consider a client’s complex financial picture and guide them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care.
  • Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients (as Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II).
  • Use a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice.
  • Deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to the solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all their financial needs.
  • Register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing as per SAFE Act requirements.
