About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America involves obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training. Upon licensing, you will learn foundational skills in client relationship management, financial assessment, and providing advice and solutions. The role progresses to working in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions, and providing client care. Successful FSAs I typically advance to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships with a client portfolio. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential mortgage originations, including background checks and registration, with failure to comply potentially leading to termination.

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system as required by the SAFE Act.
