About The Position

Advanced Infusion Care (AIC), a division of AIS Healthcare, is the leading provider of home infusion therapies and specialty pharmacy services. We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Supervisor, Intake to lead our Intake team and oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced, patient-focused department. This role is responsible for ensuring patient benefits are verified accurately, intake processes are completed efficiently, team members are developed and supported, and exceptional service is delivered to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders. The Financial Services Supervisor, Intake is responsible for leading and supporting the daily operations of the Intake department. This role provides direct supervision, coaching, training, and performance management to Intake team members while ensuring patient benefits are verified accurately and departmental productivity, quality, and turnaround standards are met. This position serves as a key leader and resource for the team and works closely with Nursing, Pharmacy, Sales, and other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Patient Intake, Insurance Verification, Medical Billing & Coding, Reimbursement, Healthcare Operations, Customer Service within a healthcare environment
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience managing employee performance and conducting coaching conversations
  • Strong understanding of insurance verification and reimbursement workflows

  • Specialty Pharmacy experience
  • Intake leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of infusion therapies and reimbursement processes

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, organize, and direct daily Intake department operations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Provide real-time performance feedback and monthly coaching sessions
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations
  • Lead team meetings and communicate departmental updates
  • Address employee performance concerns and administer disciplinary action when appropriate
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
  • Partner with leadership on staffing, scheduling, and personnel matters
  • Ensure quality, productivity, and turnaround standards are achieved
  • Train new and existing associates on departmental workflows and systems
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Resolve escalated patient and provider concerns
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Create corrective and preventative action plans when necessary
  • Monitor departmental reporting and performance metrics
  • Work closely with Nursing, Pharmacy, Sales, and other business units
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in meetings, special projects, and operational initiatives
  • Serve as backup to the Intake Manager when needed
