Provides quality service to internal and external members in-person and over the telephone. Performs all duties assigned to the teller and member services areas according to established policies and procedures. Maintains working knowledge of and promotes credit union products/services, including completing outbound calls and making referrals. Manages department office supplies and personal work area, prepares workstation daily, and processes mail distribution. Trains/mentors other employees and provides status updates to supervisors. Balances daily, performs operational duties, troubleshoots equipment problems, and reports errors. Maintains functional knowledge of online systems and software, including procedures for system downtime. Prepares reports, files, photocopies/scans, and creates/maintains Excel reports. Backs up the head employee and other functions as assigned. Performs member service duties such as opening/closing accounts, processing card transactions, stop payments, and safe deposit box applications. Maintains knowledge of lending policy, loan approval guidelines, and related regulations. Promotes and sells the TruStage Lender Development Program and assists members with insurance claims. Performs duties of membership officer and/or notary as assigned. Handles office deliveries, member appointments, credit report reviews, lien terminations, and loan file maintenance. Performs teller duties including balancing cash drawers, processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and issuing cashier checks. Operates check printers, money order machines, and instant issue machines. Manages sub-accounts and performs member deposit verifications. Maintains lobby brochures, verifies logs, processes night drop transactions, and performs member acknowledgement desk duties. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
