About The Position

This role is responsible for representing QNB to customers in a courteous, confidential, and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service through consultative selling and cross-selling. The Financial Services Representative will also perform paying and receiving functions, balance cash drawers, and maintain strong knowledge of QNB products and services. The position requires active participation in sales and referral campaigns, completion of compliance training, and support of community involvement.

Requirements

Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time - all day if necessary.
Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way when dealing with both internal and external customers.
Required training and product knowledge must be completed within the first 6 months of employment.
Ability to lift and maneuver 25-50 pound coin bags.
Communication skills that model QNB's sales efforts, including the ability to identify and fulfill customers' current and future needs.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent.
Fulfill QNB compliance in operations and security by adhering to government regulations, QNB policy, and established procedures.
Must successfully complete Banking Fundamentals within the first 18 months of employment (grade of C or higher).
Must fulfill re-certification requirements for FSR annually.
May require compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.

Responsibilities

Models Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and meet or exceed quality standards.
Builds customer relationships by representing QNB courteously, confidentially, and professionally.
Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service through consultative selling and cross-selling.
Cross-sells deposit and loan products and refers customers to appropriate personnel or departments.
Performs paying and receiving Financial Service Representative functions accurately.
Balances cash drawer and/or Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) at the end of the day.
Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of the Financial Service Representative role.
Relates to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
Maintains strong QNB product knowledge and actively champions QNB Service and Sales, referral, and product campaigns.
Completes assigned compliance training in a timely manner and applies training to duties.
Supports the community through involvement and participation in local volunteer and/or charitable organizations.
Is available during all operating branch hours, which may include holidays and weekends.
Assumes additional job-related duties as requested, including the ability to work at any branch location.
