This position provides quality service to internal and external members both in-person and over the telephone. The role encompasses all duties assigned to the teller and member services areas, adhering to established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of and actively promoting credit union products and services, completing outbound calls, and making referrals. The representative will perform daily operational duties such as preparing and organizing workstations, processing mail, balancing daily transactions, and troubleshooting department equipment. They are also responsible for reporting errors and out-of-balance conditions to the supervisor immediately. Member service duties involve opening/closing/changing various accounts, processing credit/debit card requests, handling stop payments, safe deposit applications, electronic service requests, and processing various types of loans. The role requires maintaining knowledge of lending policies, regulations, and promoting specific lender development programs. Additionally, the representative will assist members with insurance claims, perform duties of a membership officer and/or notary, manage office security, handle consumer credit reports, and perform all teller-related duties including cash drawer balancing, processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and issuing financial instruments. The position also involves maintaining lobby brochures, managing drop-box transactions, and ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
