About The Position

Financial Services Representative (Permanent, Full-time) Location: Remote Position. The successful candidate must reside within 3 hours of Kawartha Financial Services Regional Office, Peterborough, ON Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday Rate of Pay: $900.47 - $1,448.91 per week (plus pension and applicable benefits)

Requirements

A minimum of two years of sales, service an investment administration and/or sales experience
Advanced member service and sales skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Mutual Funds License, active and in good standing
Willingness to complete additional educational components as required

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education with emphasis in business or financial planning would be an asset

Responsibilities

Specialize in investments, sell and deliver all investment products and services
Contribute towards the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals and objectives on an annual basis
Assist with the development of business opportunities to establish a profitable investment portfolio with the corporate objectives of the credit union
Anticipate and determine the needs of members. Transact request or refer the member to the suitable service area.
Provide needs-based advice, counselling members on financial matters such as family budgeting, credit management and investment/retirement planning.
Identify opportunities to generate sales and new members.
Monitor the renewal of maturing investments. Ensure members receive appropriate notice, advising of alternative options and assist with renewals.
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with members by providing excellent member service.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
