About The Position

Reporting to the CMO, you will be responsible for providing sales and service advice to members that are not assigned an active Financial Representative and to new leads that come through the marketing team. The incumbent will also actively look for opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell financial products based on member needs. This role works closely with our Marketing team and Distribution to enhance the overall member experience with Serenia Life Financial. This is a current vacancy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years working in the financial services industry
  • Previous experience in sales development and execution
  • Ability to work with inbound and outbound telephone calling
  • Life Insurance license

Responsibilities

  • Make proactive outbound calls to members to drive awareness, education, and sales of Serenia Life Financial products.
  • Meet with members remotely (via phone or computer) or face to face to analyze their financial situation, recommend life insurance and investment products that best fit their needs and budget.
  • Execute on Serenia Life Financial’s growth strategy by delivering on personal Risk Premium sales targets.
  • Work in partnership with Member Services, to understand the issues, concerns and opportunities raised through contact with members.
  • Refer potential sales leads and opportunities to outside Financial Representatives who are better located to work with the member.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Serenia Life Financial’s Risk and Investment products, administrative processes, financial needs analysis software and complimentary products offered through 3rd party partnerships.
  • Ongoing activity reporting and usage of Hubspot CRM for managing status of leads and new business.
  • Work very closely with the marketing team to optimize the leads and sales processes.
  • Adhere to all Serenia Life Financial compliance requirements.
