About The Position

As a Financial Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their financial journeys by providing expert advice tailored to their unique needs and goals. You will analyze clients' financial situations, recommend appropriate products and services, and help them make informed decisions to achieve long-term financial stability and growth. This role requires building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring trust and satisfaction through personalized service and ongoing support. You will collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on the latest financial products, market trends, and regulatory requirements to deliver accurate and compliant advice. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to both client success and the overall growth and reputation of the financial institution you represent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant financial certification such as Series 7, Series 63, or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in financial advisory, banking, or related financial services roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial products including investments, insurance, retirement plans, and loans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential to assess client financial data and develop tailored strategies that align with their goals.
  • Communication skills are used continuously to explain complex financial concepts clearly and build trust with clients.
  • Organizational skills help manage multiple client accounts, track follow-ups, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency with financial software and CRM tools enables efficient planning, documentation, and client management.
  • Staying current with market trends and regulatory changes requires continuous learning and adaptability to provide relevant and compliant advice.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
  • Experience working with diverse client portfolios including high-net-worth individuals and small businesses.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and CRM platforms.
