About The Position

In this role, you will be working as part of a captive finance team to facilitate sales and maximize value for Cisco products and services. You are a strong consensus builder with flexibility and knowledge to identify and develop the best transaction for Cisco, its channel partners and its customers. Serving as the account manager for a defined group of customers you will be the face of Cisco Capital and manage the necessary internal and external relationships to deliver on customer outcomes and Cisco success. The responsibility of managing a group of Commercial customers includes financial performance. This role is responsible for exceeding bookings goal, managing forecast accuracy, providing customer insight, and strategically leveraging all financial solutions to deliver upon customer outcomes. Internally, the Financial Sales Specialist will be a strategic leader influencing your own team along with an integrated cross-functional team across Cisco Capital, Cisco Systems, Inc., and the partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in selling complex financial and leasing transactions
  • 8+ years’ experience
  • Ability to develop and manage across all levels of an organization – front line to C-level
  • Proven track record of outstanding sales results with an emphasis on generating new and previously untapped accounts
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory
  • Strong executive presence, EQ, and financial astuteness
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade
  • Capability of aligning financial goals to business outcomes, educating and driving stakeholders to deliver holistic solutions
  • Validated ability to lead and effectively collaborate in a matrix-managed team culture
  • Driven to be amongst the top of your peers in terms of achievement
  • Enjoy engaging in challenging activities, creating solutions for customers, learning in a fast-paced environment, and asking questions
  • Detailed oriented
