About The Position

This role is for a Financial Reporting Sr Accountant. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing. A CPA or equivalent, or being on a path to obtain a CPA, is preferred. The role involves working or applied knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS, with the ability to independently research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance to routine transactions and reporting matters. A general understanding of regulatory financial reporting (statements) requirements is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy, applied knowledge of accounting (e.g., Oracle, FCCS) and/or financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva, Blackline) and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power BI. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing role
Working or applied knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS, with the ability to independently research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance to routine transactions and reporting matters
General understanding of regulatory financial reporting (statements) requirements
Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
