The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting, inputting, and maintaining required information in the financial statements within SEC filings (Form 10-K, Form 10-Qs, and 8-Ks), as well as our international and statutory reporting requirements. In addition, this position supports the financial reporting team in the research and implementation of new and existing accounting pronouncements and assists with various special projects, process improvement and automation, and supporting timely and accurate financial reporting for our internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related accounting or financial reporting experience; preference for experience from public accounting or US public filers
  • Existing knowledge base in areas such as, but not limited to consolidation and intercompany, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, foreign currency, or purchase or sale accounting
  • Advanced application and knowledge in MS Office such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Excellent financial/analytical and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, critical analysis, and initiative in a fast paced, client-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to suggest improvements and subsequent implementation
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge in Workiva, Workday, and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) would be an asset
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, SQL, Python, or similar languages would be a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Collects information, prepares, and/or maintains the quarterly and annual reports on Forms 10-Q and Form 10-K
  • Collects information, prepares, and/or maintains the annual statutory filings for additional U.S. entities under U.S. GAAP and international entities under IFRS or local GAAP
  • Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Own process and procedure improvements and automation initiatives to enhance timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepares and maintains the quarterly related party procedures and updates, and other board reporting as needed
  • Assists with design and compilation of monthly reporting packages to business leadership
  • Support SOX controls by maintaining process documentation and execution according to risk assessment and control frameworks
  • Liaison with external auditors for quarterly and annual reports, as well as statutory and international reports
  • Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations, including new and existing accounting pronouncements and SEC guidance, to ensure compliance
  • Regular attendance at the workplace in a traditional office environment may be required
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested
