Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting practices.
  • Four or more years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, audit, or financial reporting, preferably within a complex or multi-location organization.
  • Ability to evaluate complex financial data, identify trends, investigate unusual activity, and develop well-supported conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while delivering high-quality work.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, contribute to team success, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar advanced certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and meaningful insights for business leaders.
  • Compile, validate, reconcile, and interpret financial information from multiple sources while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Lead or assist with external audit requirements, financial statement support, account analyses, and audit documentation while supporting tax-related reporting and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, operations, and leadership teams to resolve reporting issues and provide financial guidance.
  • Investigate financial variances, trends, and account activity, providing clear recommendations and actionable insights to management.
