Requirements

  • 3-5 years of financial reporting accounting and/or tax experience a minimum
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience with Financial Reporting Systems
  • Experience with budget and forecast with analysis
  • Strong Technical skills with Microsoft products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to promote positive working relationships and explain/interpret accounting information to non-financial people
  • Maintaining the general ledger including journal entries, preparation of workpapers and applying principles of accounting.
  • Involved in financial reporting and analysis of financial results for areas of responsibility in P&M Holding Group Affiliated Entities.
  • Annual financial plan involvement from creation, analysis, presentation and project management of plan process are also a responsibility of this role.
  • Preparation of various financial statements such as Balance Sheet and P&M specific income statements, as well as management reports with analysis on results of operations with explanations of trends or other pertinent data.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English.

  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Experience or interest in tax return preparation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly journal entries and workpapers.
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Preparation of workpapers and supporting documents for any required regulatory filings or surveys.
  • Analyze and coordinate payment of intercompany balances.
  • Attendance/support with presentations at board meetings as needed.
  • Involvement in development of annual financial plans.
  • Assist with tax preparation activities, as needed.
  • Maintain Partner capital account activity.
  • Support financial reporting and finance operations across international entities.
  • Assisting with external audit preparation and other special projects.
