About The Position
As a Financial Relationship Banker, you help consumer and business customers achieve their financial goals by retaining and growing customer relationships. You proactively identify customer financial goals and needs and recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. The role is based in an office branch environment and includes customer service, relationship development, referrals, and helping customers use banking technology. The position is eligible for an applicable incentive compensation plan. The anticipated base compensation range is $22.00–$34.00 per hour, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as location, experience, and education. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales; alternatively, military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
- Provide fingerprints if required by NMLS regulations and satisfy additional background check requirements.
- Ability to build, deepen, and retain relationships.
- Demonstrated acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, customer service, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
- Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, a new customer follow-up program, and referrals from customers, bank colleagues, and partners.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
- Educate customers on optimizing their use of bank technology, including online, mobile, and ATM banking.
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies.
- Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
