About The Position

The Systems Pricing team within Commercial Finance is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help bridge IT and Commercial Operations. The role focuses on documenting, designing, and implementing business system processes; translating business needs into system requirements; and supporting system enhancements and new applications. The analyst will coordinate reporting and analytics needs, contribute to business strategy discussions, facilitate collaboration between application users and IT, participate in software validation and testing, and provide end-user support for Commercial Operations applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
0–3 years of experience in analytics, pricing, process improvement, or a related area.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask while efficiently completing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Document, design, and implement internal business system processes.
Translate business requirements into written user requirements and system specifications for software development.
Design and plan development and implementation processes for Bid-App 2.0 enhancements and/or new systems and applications.
Identify and coordinate process owners’ reporting and data analytics needs.
Participate in business strategy discussions and present the pros and cons of new systems and major enhancements to senior management.
Serve as a liaison between Commercial Operations application users and IT project teams to facilitate efficient development and support.
Participate in software and algorithm validation through development, review, and/or execution of testing.
Assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define a future state and/or business solution based on customer needs.
Provide end-user support by identifying application improvements, researching and triaging issues, and tracking defects for Commercial Operations applications.
