About The Position

JMG Financial Group, Ltd. is seeking part-time Financial Planning Interns to join the team for the summer of 2027 in our Downers Grove office. The internship will last for 8 weeks, from June 7 through July 29, with participants working 4 days a week. The goal of the program is to provide hands-on experience and exposure to the wealth management industry. Participants will gain experience in finance, income tax, estate planning, financial planning, and investments. This is a great opportunity for students entering their senior year looking to join a reputable wealth management firm to learn more about the financial planning field.

Requirements

• Must possess excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Must be a rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Financial Planning, Business Administration/Management or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience and exposure to the wealth management industry.
• Gain experience in the areas of finance, income tax, estate planning, financial planning and investments.
