About The Position

JMG Financial Group, Ltd. is one of the largest independently owned fee-based wealth management firms in the Chicago area. While JMG provides comprehensive wealth management services to corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals, we are equally committed to operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across our organization. JMG is seeking part-time Financial Planning Interns to join the team for the summer of 2027 in our Downers Grove office 4 days a week from June 7 through July 29 (8 weeks). This individual must possess excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced professional office environment. The goal of the program is to provide hands-on experience and exposure to the wealth management industry. Participants will gain experience in the areas of finance, income tax, estate planning, financial planning and investments. This is a great opportunity for students entering their senior year looking to join a reputable wealth management firm to learn more about the financial planning field.

Requirements

• Must be a rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Financial Planning, Business Administration/Management or Finance.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Resume and cover letter are required.

Responsibilities
