About The Position

Planview is seeking Financial Planning and Analysis interns to join their team in Austin, Texas, for the summer of 2027. This internship offers valuable, paid work experience to support academic learning and career development. Interns will have opportunities to work across teams with Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, and Accounting on M&A, Capital Markets, and Strategic Planning. The role is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited University or college program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or Economics, or recent graduates. Candidates must be available to work from the Austin office for the duration of the internship.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the company’s strategic vision.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term financial models to support strategic planning.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities.
  • Perform due diligence, including financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Manage deal negotiations, structuring, and integration processes.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Assist in capital raising efforts, including equity and debt financing.
  • Maintain relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other financial institutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal capital structures to support business objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Partner with business units to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
  • Work with the team to implement new and better Automation and Agentic processes.
  • Assist with data cleaning and data integration processes.
