About The Position

The FP&A Intern supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. This role helps prepare financial reports, analyze business performance, maintain datasets, and support strategic planning activities. This internship is located in DigiKey’s corporate headquarters in Thief River Falls, MN and will require regular onsite attendance. Local housing is provided for interns.

Requirements

A rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Be willing to take the initiative, working independently and collaboratively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Interest in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics.
Full Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage special projects assigned assisting FP&A in current processes opportunities.
Assisting FP&A team in preparing for annual planning and budgeting.
Conduct variance analysis with actuals against forecasted projections and provide key insights.
