Financial Planning Analyst Lead

Wathco•Braselton, GA
•$70,000 - $80,000

About The Position

Wathco is hiring its first dedicated FP&A professional to build and own the company’s reporting and forecasting capability. The role will consolidate information from disconnected sources into consistent, repeatable reporting and use it to forecast revenue, margin, and EBITDA down to the individual project manager and project location. The analyst will work directly with the CFO, Controller, and operations leadership and support reporting to the private equity sponsor. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Responsibilities include creating a reliable reporting framework using data from Procore, QuickBooks, and other sources; standardizing monthly reports and dashboards; developing historical performance reporting and a consistent set of KPIs; and maintaining rolling forecasts and the annual budget. The role also analyzes work-in-progress schedules, percent-complete revenue, billings, and project cost-to-complete forecasts, identifying margin fade and risks on active jobs. The analyst presents findings to leadership and, as needed, the board and PE sponsor, supports investor and lender reporting, and helps operations leaders use financial information. Wathco is a PE-backed commercial construction company headquartered in Braselton, Georgia. It performs restaurant chain renovations, tenant improvement build-outs, conversions, and facilities work across the continental United States. The company focuses on renovation work and does not perform ground-up or residential construction.
