About The Position

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst performs financial analysis and supports budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role is primarily responsible for data preparation, variance analysis, and report generation, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is delivered to finance leadership and business stakeholders. Position is On-site.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation)
  • Solid analytical and data validation skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic financial modeling capability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field required
  • 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis
  • Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Progress toward CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update recurring financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)
  • Compile and consolidate data for budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and flag significant fluctuations for review
  • Maintain financial models and spreadsheets under direction of FP&A leadership
  • Validate and reconcile financial data across systems and reports
  • Support budget owners by providing requested financial data and standard reports
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and reporting packages
  • Execute standard financial processes, including data pulls, uploads, and system updates
  • Document processes and support improvements to reporting consistency and efficiency
