About The Position
MSIG USA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Intern to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. The role involves working with financial models, analyzing key performance metrics, and assisting with strategic decision-making. The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027, and includes a three-day induction from June 7 to June 9, 2027, in Warren, New Jersey. The position follows a hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days per week in the office and pays $25.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling, and in PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn financial statements and key financial metrics.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating financial models.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis of actual versus forecasted results.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
- Work with large datasets to generate insights and support business decisions.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, including cost analysis, revenue projections, and process improvement initiatives.
