About The Position

MSIG USA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Intern to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. The intern will work with financial models, analyze key performance metrics, and assist with strategic decision-making.

The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. It includes a three-day induction from June 7 through June 9, 2027, in Warren, New Jersey. The position follows a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of four days in the office per week. Compensation is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling, and in PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn financial statements and key financial metrics.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating financial models.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis of actual versus forecasted results.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
• Work with large datasets to generate insights and support business decisions.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects such as cost analysis, revenue projections, and process improvement initiatives.
