About The Position

The FP&A Analyst supports the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes. This role provides financial insights and analyses that drive organizational performance, improve resource allocation, and support long-term strategic objectives. In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, the position serves as a key contributor to the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program by coordinating risk assessments, maintaining risk reporting, and supporting leadership's efforts to identify, evaluate, and mitigate strategic and operational risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and performance metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management concepts and frameworks.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for management.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, trend analyses, and scenario planning tools.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with department leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
  • Assist in the preparation of executive leadership and board reporting materials.
  • Support cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and other strategic financial analyses.
  • Monitor organizational performance against budget and forecast expectations.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting and planning processes.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the organization's Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Coordinate periodic enterprise risk assessments with departmental and executive stakeholders.
  • Maintain organizational risk registers, mitigation plans, and risk reporting dashboards.
  • Track key risks and monitor progress against mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare risk reports and presentations for executive leadership and governance committees.
  • Assist in identifying emerging strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and technology risks.
  • Support integration of risk management considerations into planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
  • Promote risk awareness and risk management best practices throughout the organization.
