About The Position
The Zara Group of Northwestern Mutual is seeking a Financial Planner, with a focus on candidates who can transition healthcare expertise into financial services. The role involves working directly with clients to understand their financial goals and provide personalized guidance on planning for needs such as medical expenses, retirement, and higher education. The position offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships and support clients through changing life stages. The role includes developing comprehensive financial plans covering investments, insurance, and retirement; recommending and implementing insurance strategies; and monitoring plans over time. The planner will also build a client network through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations. Training and sponsorship are available for required licenses. The office is located at 424 S. Woods Mill Rd., Suite 300, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, Series 63, and state insurance licenses; training and sponsorship are available.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree is highly preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or business development is beneficial but not required.
- Healthcare background or experience.
