About The Position

Join LATG and make an impact. We're looking for a detail-oriented Financial/Payroll Technician to support federal payroll operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll help ensure payroll corrections, payments, refunds, and salary adjustments are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with federal requirements while working alongside experienced Financial Analysts and Government stakeholders.

Requirements

3+ months of relevant payroll, finance, administrative, or customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math and payroll calculation abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Ability to pass a background investigation

Nice To Haves

Experience with the National Finance Center (NFC) payroll system.

Responsibilities

Process payroll correction requests, including payments, refunds, salary adjustments, and benefits-related actions.
Review requests for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation.
Perform payroll calculations, data validation, and quality checks.
Maintain accurate case records and status updates.
Research and resolve routine issues while escalating complex cases as needed.
Communicate with customers and Government personnel to obtain information and provide status updates.
Support reporting, case research, and documentation efforts.
Meet productivity, quality, and deadline requirements.
