About The Position

Golden Reserve is seeking an experienced paraplanner and client services team manager to lead its growing paraplanner team across the country (currently 17 paraplanners and growing). This is a player-coach role, initially split 50% paraplanner duties and 50% leadership management, with leadership responsibilities increasing as the team expands. The expectation is to establish oneself as a top paraplanner performer within the first 12 months, gradually taking on more management and leadership responsibilities. Golden Reserve is a full-service RIA and insurance firm dedicated to changing the financial industry for retirees and its team of financial professionals. The company has rapidly grown to over 40 offices covering 9 states. The paraplanner manager team is responsible for building financial plans, managing open annuity application processing until issuance, preparing all custodian and insurance paperwork, running policy delivery meetings, annual review preparation, and serving as the primary contact for all client requests and communication. A positive attitude and organized approach are crucial for success in this position. Golden Reserve's lead generation is driven by its nationwide radio and television show, seminar workshops, digital marketing, and world-class client services.

Requirements

  • Three (3)+ Years of management experience (having direct reports)
  • Five (5)+ Years of professional service paraplanner experience
  • Ohio Life and Health Insurance license
  • Communication Excellence – managing and inspiring a team, and supporting our clients requires a world class communicator, both internally and externally
  • Management – you will be asked to lead a multi-location team to drive process while maintaining and managing a growth culture with constant change

Responsibilities

  • Lead the paraplanner team across the country
  • Perform paraplanner duties (initially 50% of the role)
  • Manage and lead the team (initially 50% of the role, increasing over time)
  • Establish oneself as a top paraplanner performer over the first 12 months
  • Build out financial plans
  • Manage open annuity application processing until issuance
  • Prep all custodian and insurance paperwork
  • Run policy delivery meetings
  • Prepare for annual reviews
  • Act as the first line for communication for all client requests and communication
  • Lead a multi-location team to drive process while maintaining and managing a growth culture with constant change
  • Think and solve problems real time as the team and position grows
