About The Position
Mayvin is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to support the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Management Services Division (MSD). This position supports the Resource Oversight team by handling division-wide financial transactions, including tracking, oversight, and execution of financial transactions for construction projects and rent. The role requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen and to undergo and pass a background investigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of (1) year of experience in above responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation

Responsibilities
- Support division-wide financial transactions for construction, rent, and other projects
- Track and process Reimbursable Work Agreements (RWAs), Reimbursable Agreements (RAs), obligations, de-obligations, transfers, and IPAC reports
- Monitor quarterly open obligations and financial close-outs for accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate deliverables with analysts and review work for accuracy before submission
- Identify process efficiencies and recommend improvements to financial operations
