Financial Operations Analyst
About The Position
The Financial Operations Analyst plays a critical role in helping customers maximize the value of XiFin’s financial platform. This position sits within the Finance team and focuses on analyzing customer financial data, delivering actionable insights, and educating customers on how to effectively use XiFin’s analytics, reporting tools, and financial workflows. This role blends strong financial acumen with customer engagement, requiring the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear, practical guidance for customers. You will partner closely with internal analytics and customer success teams to support customer performance and drive adoption of XiFin’s financial capabilities. This position will be located at our offices in San Diego, CA. This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States.
Requirements
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly
- Customer-focused mindset with empathy
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance, analytics, or operations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with EmpowerRCM and reporting tools
- Demonstrated expertise with SQL, Tableau, or BI tools
- Ability to apply AI tools to improve the customer experience
- Demonstrated in-depth FP&A processes knowledge
Responsibilities
- Drive customer enablement through training on reporting and self-service dashboards
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities
- Deliver insights through reports and dashboards
- Partner with internal customer teams to improve customer results and satisfaction
- Train customers on platform analytics and reporting tools
- Simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance users
- Compile and validate reporting data
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports
- Assist with billing, reporting, and audit support
- Analyze fee schedules and financial benchmarks
