About The Position

As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our Finance & Sales teams as the company’s first point of contact for customers with invoicing or account-related issues. You will also manage full cycle billing and Accounts Receivable activities. Additionally, you will contribute to month-end close, preparing working papers and providing commentary and analysis concerning these focus areas. You will also work cross-functionally to assist with financial operations.

Requirements

• Business degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in final year of study)
• Strong interest in pursuing CPA designation (CPA PEP eligibility or intention to enroll)
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships, co-op placements, or other accounting/finance-related experience are strong assets)
• Experience with NetSuite is a strong asset
• Proficiency in Google Workspace productivity suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with or interest in learning various AI business tools
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Process and manage sales orders and invoices in our accounting system
• Monitor Accounts Receivables and customer payments
• Support customers with unique invoicing and payment requirements
• Review, verify, and process expense reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Support the preparation of monthly working papers
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
